It's not even put together... engine is 2' infront of the car... I'll let you know how it is in the summer lol

lol sorry I mean your crx not the thread haha I was running through photos. Hey guys Im looking in advance as well for a dohc vtec civic 96 and up (doesnt matter what motor as long as its healthy)for NEXT summer for around like 1,800 or 2k lol. Better to start planning early. Im in Halifax so I think it would be better to catch a bus there then drive back, Because some of the cars up here are either garbage or expensive. I heard Toronto or Montreal is the way to goo...

The whole turbo thing started off on the wrong foot. What are your power goals? That will determine whether or not you will need to invest into internals. As I said stock b16 can take 270whp safe, which is quite a lot...actually a LOT for street. So if you are aiming for something around that mark just keep internals stock, and if/when you get tired, swap rods/pistons for lower compression and up the boost.

Now for the car purchase, it'll be kind of hard to find something in that price range with dohc. Unless you don't care about how much rust there is...but check out toronto.kijiji.ca
Also cars tend to be cheaper just out of gta and in better condition.
