01 Civic Engine

01 Civic Engine
Hi all,,

I'm wondering what the engine code is for the 01 civic engines (all models)? Which JDM motor will directly swap in to the 01 civic chassis?

The engine code is D17. As for JDM engines, I believe K series will drop right in, but I'm not 100% sure about that, as well as how involved the swap is.

very labor intensive. might as well buy an SIR or RSX for the same money.

7th Gens are hard to mod...I really don't like driving mine.
