He has a look of good points.. But I'll throw some in there too. If you use alot of tire shine, and are re-painting, make sure you take off as much as possible. The silicone from the tireshine will cause fish eyes in the paint. I tireshined the **** out of my tires since I work at a detailing shop, I spray it all the time I'm there, so it was a nightmare to re-do my wheels without stripping. I used mineral spirits to remove any grease, and dishsoap and a scrub brush after that. I did not sand or scuff the wheels at all, however I recommend scuffing them at least a bit, either with 400, 500 or a scotch brite, anything else you may leave marks and then you Have to use primer. That in mind, I have never used a Duplicolour paint specified for just paint alone. I use Rona brand, it's like 3.99 a can. I did bronze, and now white. Once I masked it off much like the bag idea, which takes longer, but is cleaner and less overspray if you're sloppy, or none if you're careful. The index cards (I used Canadian Tire money- I knew they had a use) are messy, and if you're doing it outside, BLOW AWAY AND SMEAR THE PAINT IN THE PROCESS MAKING YOU HAVE TO WIPE IT ALL OFF AND BLEND IT IN, BUT WHEN YOU DO MAKES IT RUN THEN YOU HAVE TO WIPE THAT, AND BY THAT TIME YOURE SO PISSED YOU DONT CARE HOW THAT WHEEL TURNS OUT!!! ... not that that's happened to me........

The wheels looked really good. Was wondering what you decided regarding the calipers...did you end up keeping them bronze or painting them another colour?

they are still bronze but i will prob be redoing them sometime in the future maybe a diy, but i will see as the hi temp paint is 10 bucks and ill have 1 more can sitting around for a while.

may do it red, black or jus gunmetal it i dont care to much
