What could be causing this problem?
ok i put my new rims on today and i had to raise the car a bit cuz it was rubbing (i got 17's)...and so i pull out on to the street and start driving when all of a sudden i notice some sort of noise coming from the rear, i THINK the right rear wheel...i dunno how to describe this noise, its like blowing in a bottle kinda noise...the faster i go the faster it makes the noise which obviosly means something is rubbing, BUT we checked and nothing is even close to rubbing, we even raised the car a bit more and same thing...what the hell could this be?

he specifically said no rubbing... ie. he cannot identify any damage anywhere inside the wheel well...so that leaves bearing noise... maybe you crunched up a bearing when you humped that pot hole a few days ago.

It's next to the blinker fluid reservoir right by the fender clutch plate carburator LOL
Wait, are you serious? For everyone's benefit, the hub rides on a spindle and there is a wheel bearing inbetween... it's usually a tapered roller bearing, and it soley supports the entire weight of your car. Inproper offset wheels and/or dirt in the bearing will quickly kill it.
