Three Cheers For Clumsy A-Holes
You guys might remember my last post about my car being damaged by someone who drove off and left me with a damaged bumper. Well, I fixed that up with a new bumper and some easy cleaning and my car was back to a presentable state.
Guess what I found yesterday? A foot long crease in my rear quarter panel, yup that's right, the unreplaceable one. The paint isn't damaged so I assume someone was walking by holding a plastic box or something and basically walked it into and along the side of my car. Now while what I really want to do is find out what kind of idiot did that and then put an equivalent footlong crease in them, I would like to attempt to fix this and not be reminded of it every time I look at my car from now on.
As I said before, the damage is a dent which is about a foot long. The paint is fine. It's in the rear quarter panel at about the level of the top of the gas cap. Is it possible to get at the exterior panel from the inside of the trunk so maybe i could use a small roller to pop it out? Any other ideas? I want to fix this without any paint having to be applied to my car otherwise I'll just leave it alone. Thanks for any help or advice you can provide.

In any event, sorry to hear about your ride getting banged up (again, apparently). I hope you can get it fixed up.

Thanks everyone for your sympathies. I've looked at it a bit more myself and I can actually get to the backside of the panel through the trunk. I might try rolling it out myself, but I'll consider taking it to 427 collision for a pro fix if that doesn't look promising.

Just to update on my string of fantastic luck with the depth perception impaired. I left work yesterday to find that someone had crashed into my rear bumper, again. It's ruined so I'm going to try and fix up the original bumper that I took off my car and put it back on until I find ANOTHER replacement.
I think now that's 4 times that my car has been damaged by someone who just drove away. Is leaving a note officially over or what? I'm paying out the rectum because of these jerks.
