Spoilers - why?

I think there's a misconception that larger wing style spoilers improve a car's aerodynamics, hence making it go faster. I also think the average person buys and installs one before learning and understanding its' real purpose. I'll eventually be installing one on my car, but it'll be strictly for looks (I've got the small factory SiR spoiler right now).

Hey iv done 180 in my civic and my spoiler dosent even flicker never mind flex i agree with some spoilers not the ones that are skinny wallmart aluminum that u drill in2 the middle ov the trunk they look like **** unless they are on a car thats worth 200.000.
Mine is dule purpose a it looks better in my opinion and 2 is that when u look out the rear window them guys on the highway with the 500000000000 candle what lights are covered up buy this strange black line in the tinted back window
