showoffs bulbs

anyone heard of these bulbs melting the housing? or any other horror stories?
because i want to change my silverstars for a pair of showoffs

i know two people with krypton showoffs i think they were called n so far so good ... i dont think itz hardcore enuff to actually melt the housin .. or am i wrong?

I've had showoffs for the past 3 months, and no complaints so far. I love them.

for those who had the eurolite 55W and the showoffs or seem them both in person
comparing the two, which one is brighter and puts out more light

i had them and they lasted for over 2yrs.. I would recommend them to anyone.

do showoffs emit any blue?? cuz i want bulbs that are just bright white where can i get some just bright white ones? all the performance shops near me have the ones with blue tint and they dont look good on my car with orange corners

the showoffs have a very very tiny hint of blue on the road but when you look at my headlights its just pure bright white.

how do these bulbs compare to Osram Silverstars??? Has anybody tried both?

Negitive on that one. . .just take out ur old OEM set or w/e u got in there....and stick those boys in. . .pretty simple. . .

that's good to know, i jsut assumed that you woudl need to upgrade with a bulb that uses almost double the wattage.
