YouTube - how to roll a fender

you're like this guy. haha

hmmm yeah.. my H&R sports were only supposed to go 1.75/1.5. but even with those i was rubbing like crazy. every turn, id be rubbing the fender liners with 195.55.15. so i put spacers in and rolled the fenders, now i dont rub.. but im gonna need to replace the spacers soon, they're pretty worn

This is what I've used in the past. I rolled fenders with it on Subies, Hondas, Mazdas, believe it or not, even on Porsches.

There are places in the GTA where you can rent the tool for $40/day, and its worth your money.

Couple of tips:

1) ALWAYS keep the fender hot with the heat gun. Heat it up nicely, to the point where if you keep your hand/skin on it for more than a second it will be very hot to the touch.

2) Roll the toll in smooth arcs, 3-5 times back and forth, then adjust by 1/4 turn, and so on.

3) Always stop after one or two passes, and ensure that the fender is hot, and re-heat if neccessary.

4) Roll the top of your wheel well first, since that is the longest, smoothest curve, then slowly, while very hot, push in the front and rear if needed. This helps to avoid kinks. Just take your time with this last step.
