Rim paint remover, aircraft stripper too strong?

Rim paint remover, aircraft stripper too strong?
I have a question. If a rim that came powder coated a colour (say red) and then it was spray painted (not powder coated) another colour, what can I use to safely take off the spray paint colour and reveal the original powder coat?
I know people use so-called aircraft stripper to bring rims to bare aluminum, but I am afriad that might eat away the red powder coat.
Anything softer solution that can dissolve regular spray paint easily?
Thanks

graphitti remover maybe...and as compubob found out its practically the same as brake kleen...I know brake kleen removes clear coats from rims and spray paint. Powder coats are pretty durable but nothing can be garaunteed. try something out on a non visable part of the rim
