Just use rubbing alcohol or thinner, its much easier than sandpaper, but make sure you get every crevice. (sp?)

i heard its easier to use hot air gun (say from shrink wrap machine)
to open up the lense instead of baking. is this true?

that may warp the sides of the headlight, just don't hold it in one spot and you should be okay, like maybe like no more than 5-7 seconds.

in my opinion, oven is the way to go, just don't make the mistake i made, the rack was too high and the top of the headlight was like 1 cm from the top heater, it had melted after like 5 minutes. that sucked.

only problem is that the paint may start to flake off sooner, thats why sanding and even primering is best

Also no condensation either.

Just in case anybody is wondering, what the seal I used looks like on my headlights. You wouldn't be able to tell that it was opened.

Good luck on the headlights! Have you attempted to doing the headlights yet?

don't hesitate to use the whole tube os silicone. i used almost one whoel tube just to make sure that there woudl be no condensation. The worst thing about this mod would be condensation so there is no harm in "over-sealing" the headlights.
