Did they come as ORIGINAL equipment on the car (your particular model) from factory? If not, then a cop can give you a ticket..........if he wants to.

as long as it has a dot code on it it should be fine no matter what the cop thinks...... I have a 99 civic si and it comes stock with red and clears.......but like whats said above you have to use either orange or red turn signals or you can get pulled over.

as long as you have red brake and a amber or red parking light and a reflector on the rear and side you will not run into any problems. the reflectors are what the cops mostly look for because if you electrical ever fails they will still show up at night to any veichles coming up behind you.

but the reflectors are not mandatory.....go read the HTA agin.


They are there "just in case".
