rear window defogger not working

rear window defogger not working
my rear window defogger/defroster isn't working.

the button works... lights on and off... but other then that there is nothing..

whats the best way to check and see where the problem is??

any ideas would be great...

check continuity at the connector for the defrost lines and then check back from there
