Post Painting side moulding

Can anybody tell me roughly how much it will cost to paint my side moulding and the bottom piece on the sides of my 1998 SI

I also got a small dent so Ill factor that in. Also if anybody knows a good shop in the westend that will do it.

Do it yourself. It's not very difficult, the hardest part is getting the damn things off. HAHA! If you screw up then take it to a body shop.

Most bodyshop can do it, just walk into any of them and get a quote, relatively easy task, since Shokker and Jugglez able to get them done themselves (somehow)

If you really want to save $, take the moulding out yourself and drop them off. They should get them all painted for about $100~150 maybe

But if you let them do it, they will charge you $50/side labour just to remove the mouldings.

It is pretty easy to remove the mouldings, you don't need brutal force, just remove the inside door panels and squeeze those tapping screws and they will pop out.

How do you take out the other 2 sides of the moldings. The ones on the quarter panels?

Remove the rear side lining

gain access to the panel then remove the moulding from inside

I can't remember EXACTLY what my quote was, but Julie from SpoilersTO said something like 250 for the skirts and 150 for the mirrors I think.. Or something like that.. But when she told me that, my face was like: ..

Look around, call body shops, I think Junior had a good hook or something through work, I can't remember..

Here is a mail I sent to Julie a while back.

Hope it helps

Hi Aaron, is the urethane wing a 3 pc? 150
paint mirrors 120
sides 265
bumper...is this an oe bumper? about 225.

These parts will be primed before painting, and we are familiar with adhesion on different materials. With your car being a 94, we should do a scan for colour match as red fades more than any other colour.
Thanks, Julie

>94 Honda Civic Hatchback Milano Red/ / Paint code R-81.

>Does this include sanding and some kind of adhesion promotion ie: Bulldog.
>
>Please advise individual pricing and package deal if available.
