Painting Price

Ok! A friend of mine's Dad runs a body and paintshop. To professionally paint the lip and trim with some sorta vinyl plastic paint (thats what he said...), all round on the bottom of the car as well as sand out rear wheel wells and seal the rust spots starting to show through and repaint all of them, as well as the 'famous honda hole' as he put it, a small hole above the bumper right behind the wheel well on the fender. Im getting a small penny sized rust spot there and he said its common, he will also fix that too. The price quoted for all work and paints used and everything was $450 (cdn.).

Is that worth it? Im not to sure, i've never looked at getting a car professionally painted and its costs as well as rust repairs..

I can post pics of the light rust..

painting prices

I have a 92 4dr White civic, and was quoted $1000 flat to do a full paint job, rust work, install and paint a spoiler as well. Does that sound like a fair price? Please let me know if I'm being jipped or not. thanx

you get what you pay for.

if you get a cheap price, you'll probably get cheap quality

never skimp on paint and body

looks like ur car was already repainted.
if u look at ur moulding there is a point where it is paintd on the black moulding wit white paint.
so if i wer u i would look out for that and see if its those custy bodyshops or an actual good place.
