painting on a budget again

Lookin for a Paint job, not too expensive, but not Maaco $500 cheap either, maybe $1000? car needs very minor work(small dent in QP) no QP Rust or Rot etc, where can I get this done =p? or anyone who does it can give me a ballpark idea? the car is currently green and I want it to be either White or Charcoal-ish silver

it's gonna cost way more than that to fix dents, rust and do a colour change and have a decent paint job

1000 dollars for just a paint job is almost too cheap, let along tacking on a dent fix.

Give Team Rukus a PM, he can give you advices for sure.

anytime you go colour change, for a good job you're looking at around 3K. They'll pull the engine out to get the bay done properly, all the jambs, so all the locks, strikers etc., must come off as well as weatherstripping. I think for the work it needs, even Maaco would charge $1000. But if you're doing white, I'd just prep it yourself by cleaning it the best you can, get some Spirit wipe, wipe it all over, and try to paint your engine bay yourself, I'd do it a flat black as if it's supposed to look like that and do the jambs on the hood and fender mounting spots yourself. As well as door jambs and trunk jambs. Make sure when you do the jambs to mask it just on the inside edges so when it get's sprayed, the overspray from painting the body will eliminate some of that line, and blend into the jambs somewhat. Then take it to Maaco and have them spray just the body. That's the cheapest thing you can do that will look half decent.
