i've been thinking of getting HID kit for a long time..but i'm not sure what to get..what is the diffrence between 6000k and 8000k? a friend told me i should get 8000k if i'm looking for more of a blue tint. i'm looking for something really bright with a tinf of blue...any recommendations? does the name of the kit matter if you're buying one? thanks

Yeah 8000K is the way to go but depends on how much you wanna spend decent ones are about 4-5 hundred bucks but still you can get the cheezy ones i wouldn't recomend it Philips is the way to go for HID

6000k gives of a blueish tint, and 8000k gives of a purpleish tint. hid kit do range in quality, and it can even be seen in the quality of light output of the kit.
