Osram Silverstar review
I got my Osram Silverstars!!
LOL just thought I'd let you all know, and write a quick review.
1st of all... I had Phillips Rally 90/100W bulbs in there before for 3 years... VERY bright, never burned out on me not even once in 3 years. They were VERY bright did I mention I noticed, however, my wiring was getting hot and hence hard... the wiring is a little stiff, so I suspect the 90/100 is too much for the goddamn telephone wire that is the headlight harness
I was unwilling to give up my lighting power, but I had to reduce the consumption of power. The answer came in the form of Sylvania/Osram Silverstars The bulbs are excellent quality, the bases are nice and percise, no burred edges anywhere... overall... AAA (Triple A) goodness. Carefully threw the bulbs in during my lunch break (making sure not to touch the bulb glass or get it dirty in any way). I went back to the underground garage... and WOW!!! A much whiter light than before. I thought it wasn't possible. The light is almost angelic. No blue tinge, no purple, nothing.... just WHITE!!! I'm VERY HAPPY! I should note, I can't tell the difference around the city cuz of all the light pollution in the city, but as soon as I get onto an unlit sidestreet...it's like the heavens open up from in front of my car! Awesome
There, now you know...

H1, H3 and Bilux H4 and H7 are available 94EG6HB... no mention of H4H man... I'll keep checking and see what I can find out. Have you tried fitting/modifying an H4 bulb? What's the diff...is it the base or the size of bulb?
JSK, Germany, and about $50 CDN w/o shipping.

Ya, I can e-mail them to you or if DumbasSi or loudsubz wanna host them for me
PM me your e-mail addy. Pics arent' great, I'm a retard with a camera My hands are shaky, and the shutter speed was too slow cuz of the lack of light, so the pics are blurry. Artistic shots though if I may say so. haha

Order them from Powerbulbs.com in the UK... free shipping.
By the way, Philips is introducing an H3 bulb to go along with the H4 and H7 bulbs in the VisionPlus series (similar product to the OSRAM Silverstars).

thanks for the pic,
so im guessing that these osrams don't look like:
those are the sylvanias that dopey posted awhile back
but i guess you can't tell for sure because its hard to tell light whiteness from a pic.
IYO: do you think that the osrams are whiter/better than the sylvania's?
thanks
