XE.com is your friend. Buy them in US dollars or British pounds from the site... the price is no different, it's the equivalent of the price in any currency they accept.

If you buy it on your credit card, they will give you the best exchange rate for the month they were purchased in. So just buy them in UK pounds or USD.

http://www.powerbulbs.com/ is your friend, free shipping and currency conversion. Someone on this site mentioned it to me along time ago. They have verything you need.

They have a new bulb now that can last 2 times longer. Check out the Phillips bulbs. The Osram is not that good, only in my opinion, only if you like stock bulbs. Their "Vision Plus" is nice, 50% more light from a 60/55W H4.

Ooppss, sorry, I've been away a while....

I have H4 headlights, dunno about this H3 stuff ppl talk about You can check the www.osram.com site to find out whats available. I checked for H4H bulbs....haven't found a thing from Osram. EK7_Drift, the Silverstars claim 50% more light than a regular bulb too.... so if the Vision Plus claims the same, then... they are prolly pretty close. I had 90/100W Phillips bulbs in there prior to these, and the wiring got crispy from the heat.

As for pics... you can e-mail me, otherwise, you'll have to wait for me to get someone to host them.

Holly crap, old thread batman!!!

Ya, I still think my Osram bulbs They look stock, not like the other "blue" or "cool" bulbs... but the light output is totally sweet! So if you don't want the attention of the police, these are pure stealth.

So has anyone ordered from Powerbulbs.com before? I mean if shipping is free, then you pay tax and brokerage at custom which will end up to be somewhere around 70 or 80 bucks no?

They sell Silverstars at Performance Improvements in Brampton, but they say the H1 and H3 sizes aren't available yet ... probably will be in late summer or fall

Buyer beware and FYI

H4 is different from H4H.

Just letting you know. H4H is also referred to as H4's by people who dont know the difference.

Thanks for your time.

Yes. Twice.

No customs, duty or brokerage fees. Brokerage fees are for couriers and powerbulbs ships via standard post. Customs usually isn't charged on items coming from the UK... at least I've never been charged on customs for anything coming from there... and no tax either.

Bruno.....I 100% totally agree with your review.

I got my osram silverstars about two months ago, and I love them. I ordered mine from powerbulbs.com.

They cost me $56CDN after shipping from the UK....FREE SHIPPING...but i had to pay duty.

A local place here in mississauga sells them too...but they want like $39 for one or something.
