OEM Carbon Fibre Hood

Hello!!!

I've seen some Civic with OEM Carbon Fibre Hoods. Does anyone know where I can get one made? or where I can get one? I have a post before but the place suggested does not had Carbon Fibre Hoods for 99 Civic SIR's.

I just want the OEM style no scoop or vent cutouts, the stock look. I've seen them but find a place to get them made.

Any places LMK!!!!

Thanks

Keep away from hoods with fiberglass skeletons.

They separate.

Fiber Images

VIS

are some "higher quality" manufacturers.

Ask about UV coating as well..

Last time I asked, Spoon OEM CF Hood is around 1500... Some say that APC and other American company can't make a perfect fit.

APC one is like 650, or cheaper.

from what i know, the distributor cost for spoon cf hood is around 1k, so 1.5 is not bad.

I think Felixauto.com "might" be able to do it less then 1.5G, cash that is.

Maybe get a group discount, like say 1.4G each...

*continues to day-dream*

There is this place, makes airplane parts, but at slow times in the year they make beautiful CF hoods. Benen Industries also has very very nice hoods.

I think they place you mean bbarbulo is called Hammerhead. I think they're in Texas.
We asked (couple of rexers) if we could get some SiR style CF hoods that fit our North American CRX's...
The cool thing about it was that ya wouldn't need at hood pins since the hood latch was welded in.
Really nice hood!

Xr8ed or JSP are both good choices ...

In terms of fit and finish they would be almost exactly the same

hint hint nudge nudge..

We will have a better idea once a certain SiVeloz gets his installed ..

If you are interested in pricing for JSP let me know
