nice job, thats the only way to do it, right the first time, and re-weld everything up.

It was scary at first, thats why i started on the rear bumper mounts, that way no body would see if i made a big mess. Bezena was up last night to take some pics for a painting quote. He showed me how to finish up a couple spots i wasn't sure of, hopefully it will be in the shop in the next week or so. I should no later today...

putting it back together is the easy part. Learning to weld, cutting apart and welding back together is the hard part

Question, did you actually cut out a piece of metal and form it into the shape or did you buy a cross canada 1/4 panel and cut it and make it fit?

I purchased the quaters from djxquizt and had rocker bent to shape. But there where many smaller patches that i just cut some metal and beat to shape with hammer...

At the moment just Tremclad spray balm. Im mainly primering now so my welds don't rust before the body shop...

use zinc mixed primer
or u will regret it later.

Yeah, i have some of that as well that im going to spray on the seams on the inside. Then us some epoxy seam sealer.
