need paint help please

hi guys i have surface rust spots on my car..just wondering what i can do if anything to get them off?? maybe a buff or clay bar??

can you post a pic? if its rust coming through the paint guaranteed the rust has ****** farther under the paint & may have to get professionally taken care of.
and clay bar only removes contaminants from paint, it doesn't eat rust lol. if its a small patch the best diy if you dont care how it comes out (beater car?) is just slightly sand the area and purchase a spray can of colour match paint from cdn tire or paint circuit, they can get a aerosol that is almost perfect match...ofcourse you won't get the same quality from a can as a body shop but if your not willing to chip out the big bucks that may be a better solution for you

Also, if you do decide to follow the do it yourself method, hit up youtube to get some techniques to make it not look shitty
