Unhappy Need advices for cleared headlights..

so i am in da middle of blacking my headlights..

i sprayed da those silver plastic in flat black..
'cept the "signal-ing" part.. i left it unpainted..

should i put the amber relfector back on w/ da stock bulb..
or i should just leave it cleared w/ a new amber bulb (7443)..
cuz i want to make it legal and stuff.. ya know..

which option do you guys think is better?

(note: 02 sedan headlights)

7443 ambers are hard to come by..i've been looking for weeks and i know what i'm after, just having a hell of a time trying to find a supplier..

imo, it'll look a little off with everything blacked out but with a chromish signal area..
i'd put the amber piece back in..
if you choose not to tho, just run the oem 7443, it'll still give ya that "slightly off white" look, but no blue to get bitched at about..

when i find a supplier for the others i'll let ya know (Polarg make the G75)

might as well clear it

if the cops are gonna make a fuss over that they'll probably point out your blacked out headlights anyway

I drive with white signal lights for about 2 years now (just changed the bulbs) and I have had cops behind me, in front of me and coming from the other side and so far, so good

I don't think black housing is illegal. If it is the reflection thing, you gotta be ******* blind not to see the lights behind you...

I've had black housings for 4 years, nothing yet... clear signals too cuz they don't make the 3496 bulb in yellow I have been wondering if the 99-00 harness can be made to fit the 96-98 headlights... cuz the 99-00 use a 1157NA bulb which is a yellow bulb.

but really it's not a matter of what's legal and what is not anymore. what matters is what will catch a cops attention.

i'm not saying you'll get pulled over for blacked out headlights and/or clear signals but if you're already pulled over those are just some things the cop might harass you about.
