hid question
did a search and nothing came up
i remember when i installed my prolumen kit i had ignitors with my kit. ive seen this with a few newer kits and two of my friends.... there is no ignitor, the headlight plug just goes straight to the ballast then to the bulb.
what is the difference?
thanks

i had a kit without an ignitor and now the prolumen one with I believe that it charges the energy in the ignitor first then goes to the ballast this way drawing less power from your car to power up the HIDS
I could be wrong but thats my 2cents and it makes sense atleast to me anyways
one problem with ignitors is finding a damn spot to put them.. one of mine aren't mounted since it gets in the way of my hood holder thingy mabobber
