I bought clear taillights for my crx recently, and after my friend installed them, we tested them out. When I hit the brake my dash lights, my parking lights, and my licence plate lights come on, then go off once i take my foot off the brake.

Then when the headlights are on, the brake lights are on at all times, and when i hit the brake, it just goes slightly brighter, not enough to notice tho.

So if anyone knows whats wrong or how i can fix it, please let me know

bad ground.

check the wires that connect to the taillights. make sure that none are stripped and being grounded.

just make sure none of the wires are cut or crimped and touching metal.... thats what it sounds like....

sounds like you have your wires messed up.

haha its fixed now. But thanks.

It was nothing to do with the wires, it was the bulbs that were in it. (weird eh)

makes sense......if ur using stock bulbs and u colored them urself, i had that problem.....lol but then i got some real bulbs....lol
