fiber glass on plastic bumper

does anyone know how well fiberglass will take to a stock plastic 5th gen bumper?
i want to cut the peice that connects under the hood and flows the hood to the bumper. i am doing this cause the kit i have does a sudden drop right after the hood ends and i don't like how sharp the edges are vrs. the stock even flow look. i hope you guys understand cause i don't know how else to explain it.

chop what you dont like and remould it with fibreglass. alot less of a head ache in the long run. it'll hold up on the plastic bumper too much time tho, you gotta do it properly and it also depends on how you drive your car too. if you beat on it it'll crack no prob.
