hey guys I got a wings west front bumper for a 90 civic hatch and its being a bitch to put on I got like 1/2 an inch or less gap between the fender and the bumper by the corner light. how would u go around this problem I tried pushing the bumper mount in but that doesnt make a difference.

I think they use washers as spacers on top of the rebar to level cheap crappy fitting aftermarket bumpers

thanxs boosted I'll try that and see if it works I wish it was a urthene bumper but I got it for 60 buxs off a friend.

Wings West never made a fiberglass bumper they only make urethane ones.

wings west used to only make fiberglass kits back in the day so I just found out not too long ago...but these are mad old school, like the original 88-91 RS kits are glass opposed to urathane

yea but the fiberglass one looks like crap alot of waves hard to install very stiff but very loose at the bottom when installed on the car

your going to have to install the kit without a rebar if you want it to fit proper or you will have to cut the kit/rebar up a bit to make it work.

I added spacers(washers) between the rebar and bumper it fits perfect on the driver side but the passenger side there is a gap between the fender and the bumper
