at CDN tire they use gunk degreaser to clean engine bays. I just thought I would let you guys know that. The cost of cleaning a engine bay there is $45.00 (I think, somewhere around that price range).

The bottle cost them less than 8.99, and they charge an arm and leg to power wash your engine bay. You can do the exact same thing if you have a pressure wash and a bottle of gunk degreaser.

How do I know all of this??? I use to work at CDN tire, LOL. I actually got to clean someone's engine bay one day.

I just did mine myself, pretty simple. Buy a can of engine degreaser at crappy tire. Spray the engine with degreaser, let It sit for 10-15 mins for It work It's magic, and rinse off MILDLY, NO POWER WASHERS!! And away you go. I usually buy 2 cans and spray It down twice, just to get everything. You really don't need to cover anything, and I have done this probably 10 times, just try to avoid any sensitive electrical areas, you can spray them, just don't sit there for 5 mins spraying 1 spot.
