on the 01 civic, the h4 hid kits need slight modification. I had to do the same thing with my 03 civic. Do you have a picture of the kit? I know on the kits I sell, I swap one of the horizontal leads with the vertical lead on the h4 connector to get them to work.

HAve somebody to do it professionally Bcoz You have to keep your DLR to be legal..

Is there no way to do this ourselves? I want to install this on my brothers 2009 and my gfs 2005, and keep the DRLs...

No modification required, at least when i did mine. Just get a Hi/Low kit to keep your drl. Installation is pretty straight forward, just hook it all up according to the diagram that came with the kit.
