Anyone deal with Visual Dynamics

I'm trying to get in touch with Trevor to speak with him about HID prices and he has not gotten back to me yet. ANyone know of an alternate way to contact him or anyone else about HID's. I've already spoken with Xenon Depot. Any other shops around T.O. that sell HID's for a reasonable price.

You may want to talk to Sherman at Speedtech Auto - he can get them. Check the affiliates section for contact info.

HID, that's my piece...
I have asked around pac mall ppl are selling them for 900, another guy that I have asked is selling them for 650 can you guys come up with any better prices than that? I am in a process of getting them, but can't find my hook up, he's properly busy or dead some where. I was also thinking of collision centers for total loss luxury cars that sports HID or police grave yard? Anyone tried this approach?

I thought about doing this but they are VERY hard to come by. I have a civic and an Acura TL HID system will fit into a civic housings, cuz its the same bulb H4.
BUT, calling around scrap yards gets you 2 things......1)nothing 2) and insane price (if the guy even knows what your talking about, which they don't half the time) for a used system and most likely a nightmare. Most of the scrap yards though I was asking for the actual lens but didn'/couldn't understand I wanted the wiring and balasts. And the few guy that did know what I wanted, had prices that were crazy....like 700-800 crazy and they guy wouldn't gurantee anything. not only that....he wouldn't gurantee that everything you need is there! IMO, the pain and agrivation that you must endure to save 100-150 is not worth it. Not to mention the time it would take you to figure out that mess. I just purchased an HID kit from xenondepot. They guy Frank is a killer guy to deal with and even offered to help me install it. He as been nothing short of awesome. I just picked it up Firday night and I'm going to install install it sunday night after work. I'll let you know how the install goes. I just bought my car in october, and I'm an HID nut....if I only do one upgrade to my car.......hid is it. I picked up a 5000k kit......next thing would be HID fogs if thats possible

That is cool.
I guess you are right about the scrap yard. I got to check out xenondepot, what are the prices like, and I guess they deal with all kinds of lighting right?

sorry, I didn't really take pics of the install....but it was a fairly simple install. The biggest problem I had was finding a sutible mounting place for the ballasts. But I mounted them behind the front grill. I'll post up pics ASAP.....

There was an article on TCC, the mounting spot for him was a good idea. How did you hook up verything, do you need fuses and a rely?

yes....you need fuses and a relay but everything comes in the kit. Its all plug and play, and all plugs only fit one way so you can't screw anything up. However, when plugging the bulb into the factory harness (that turns the lights on) you have to use a test light to find which one is highbeam and which one is low beam. You have to hook them up to the low beam. once you have that figured out that it. Then its really just a matter of mounting balasts and running the wires to the battery. It took me the better part of a day, but only because I'm pickey and I wanted to hide the wires/relays/ballasts as best as possible. The way I have it now, its looks totally stock and the only place you can see the wires are where they connect to the battery....thats it. I wrapped the ballasts (a suggestion from xenondepot) in black electrical tape, so now you cannot see them behind the grill.
I took some pics last night but they came out blurry, because I guess I was shivering when I took the pics. I'm going to take some good ones tonight and I'll post them up.
