I think power options, A/C, Cruise...Basically the EX has everything and any sedan below it has less...not sure exactly what though.

The price was really the same for 2 door and 4 door with Allstate? My insurance agent (with Allstate) said I will be paying almost $50-$100 more for a 2 door civic then a 4 door. Damn insurance companies

EX just has added power options. PW/PL/PM/Heated Mirrors/Painted side view mirrors/painted door trims/factory keyless entry/"alarm"

insurance is cheap (well cheaper then 2 door, no insurance is cheap)

Being the owner of a 99-00EX, i can tell you this for sure

i checked the specs on the LX and EX they are basically the same car, exept EX has a cd player, a sun/moon roof, ABS, and 20 more hp

yeah a USDM EX
no ek civic sedan came with a d16y8(si) motor in Canada
afaik none came with factory installed moonroofs either
