i bought a kit from hidplanet.com and i was wondering if you have to make a harness or can i just use mine on my civic without using relay ,diode and fuse ,just got direct...has anyone done this,,please give me some info

What the hell would you need a diode for exactly? If its a good kit like the mcullough kit that i bought and the bulbs are the same type that are in your car now then the kit should have plugs included to plug into your stock harness. If not then you will have to either cut and splice or create your own conversion harness.

some hid kits tht are hi/low h4 bulbs have a diode in the harness for the high beam.
but all hid kits are 99.9% plug and play
no major modding required. i have installed about 20 of these so if you need a hand pm me
