8th gen (2008) civic headlights (hid) question

hey guys, i have a 2008 civic, i wanna put hid's on but my headlights are reflectors, is that ok?

if you look at the headlights, the outter blubs have this cover over the bulb, which are my night lights...the inner which is the daytime is fully exposed...if i put hids on my night reflectors, that wouldnt' look nice anymore would it?or what are my options or if anyone had hids on their, lmk. thanks

no that is not ok cuz those reflectors are not designed for HID output.

having said that...the 8th gen headlight design is sort of narrow and slim so the reflector is not very large. the glare is usually not as bad as you may see in previous gen civic headlights....but there will still be glare.

you should stay away from putting hid into reflector. It will create soo much glare. Go for a retrofit.

Do not buy. Output on the road is terrible if you just stick and HID kit into stock housings
