Hi,

I am just wondering if it is possible to open the headlights on an 01 to get the Yellow lens out for the turning signals.
Has anyone done this and if so do the lights fog up after becoming wet?
I was thinking of opening them, taking the lens out and then silconing the seal shut again and baking it in the oven to dry the silcone quicker and drying out any moister that may have got in the unit.

Any help would be appreciated.

yes i have..
don't bake to dry just bake to loosen up the oem silicone..

Just did it on my 01' a few weeks ago. Pretty simple procedure, although it takes some time because you have to remove the bumper and the headlights are a bitch to take apart as a result of all the sealant holding them together.
