For you gym heads- AMAZING deal on suppliments

Here you go guys, ill cut it short since all these topics just create a huge argument on quality and need of work out suppliments

supplements canada is having a huge sale of *almost* expired product, and the discounts are huge.

http://www.supplementscanada.com/pop...ummer2006.html

Dont fret too much about the best before dates, thats all they are, best before dates- it wont taste different or have negative effects if consumed after the date. All companies post best before dates so that there is a grace period incase consumers mistakenly consume it after the date.

Keep in mind they are sealed and not exposed to air, so these should be good for at least 2-3 months after the posted date.

I purchased x4 of cell-tech and x5 of nitro-tech. YES I know in retail these are WAY overpriced, and some say overated ( I have not tried it yet ) so I jumped all over this.

I paid a totall of $105 shipped, where as if I purcahsed this as SND canada it would cost me over 400+taxes.

Stock is limitd, so jump all over it

Personally I use stuff all the time after the "best before" date. thats all it is a is a guideline, if the product is still good I am not going to throw it out because a date on the box... you'll know if they/it are gone bad.

^^true, its not like food, or bread, it wont mold within a week after its date. it is the BEST BEFORE DATE- not expire date so all is good.

How can creatine go *bad*? when its just food coloring, dextrose and creatine powder?

well most supplements are nutrional supplements, and proteins and stuff.

Alot of people take them when working out, running, and other exercise.

Its a personal choice.

medications and such shouldnt be used past their date of expiry since the molecular make up of them can change and cause you to get sick, bacteria can grow etc...but since they are "almost" they still might be good...but I dunno...I wouldnt buy old stuff like that, like how long is the actual shelf life on these things for them to be almost expired...its like buying canned soup almost expired, that sh*t has a 3 year shelf life or something

People should go and reserach the physiological benefits behind it. The whole mechanism of delivery is flawed and it provides next to no benefit. It does make muscles look swollen because of water retention, but more then likely, there will be no power gain. Most people take it thinking it will work and it works for them because it's just a placebo effect. Creatine supplements have not been proven effective, any physiology major/prof will laugh at you if you say otherwise

yeah...creatine is bad for you. watch out for beef....because it has creatine in it. i wonder when the ignorance will end....

supplements help you to enhance and maximize the hard work out put in. kind of like car parts. sure you can race with a stock car, but why?

i've never heard of creatine rage... i've heard of roid rage though... are you sure your boy was only taking creatine?

i have a friend who's on it, and his reasoning for taking it is that while it enlarges your muscles with water, it also stretches them out to a larger size, so when you cycle off it, and you keep working out your muscles have an easier time growing to the same size as they were before...

imagine blowing up one of those clown baloons the first time... and then blowing it up the second time... the second time is easier because it's already stretched out to the size you want it to be...

again just waht i've heard... i've never used it so i can't say..

im sure you are not 100% ignorant...its just 98% of your posts sound like it.

anyway, creatine would not be NOS....it would be more like new racing pedals. get a clue.

as for doctors....fvck 'em. many of them have not kept up to date technologies. do your own research on pub med and draw your own conclusions.

creatine increases your body's ATP (energy, fuel, etc) stores so you can push out an extra rep or two before failure.
