Isn't it 'DMC'?

Next question: How do you figure you'd be able to afford insurance on a DeLorean? lol

Actually, they are not that expensive. A shop in town has one that they are fixing. You should look in the Old Car Trader, I've seen them come up for sale every once in a while, for like around $10K in pretty crappy shape, $50K or so if in close to mint shape. Perfect examples you would only find at those classic car auctions held on Speed TV Network, I forget what the auction is called. You could also look at the DuPont Registry, but I doubt it, they only have new exotic cars.

Buff's right, it's DMC DeLorean -- DMC 12 to be accurate. AMC was a completely different company -- famous for the Rambler, AMX, and Gremlin -- that was eaten up by Chrysler in the early 80s.

Here's a link to De Lorean: http://www.delorean.com/

You can buy refurbished De Lorean DMC 12's with everything from GPS systems to HID lighting systems. Check it out.

As for Back To The Future, that movie series isn't THAT old... oh, and it's coming out on DVD as a boxed set next month!!

He can't afford to keep his Civic, let alone buy a DeLorean and insure it.
