Now, here's when things get stirred up.
For the record, what he did is horrible (obviously). And he should have the book thrown at him.
HOWEVER... He's a kid, and as a kid... I think that he shouldnt be considered an adult in the court of law (which I'm pretty certain he will be).
Think back to when you were 15 and thought you understood life... we didnt know anything really. and the fact of the matter is (IMO) if he can't drink, drive (yes I know he was driving), smoke, get into clubs, or really do anything that an adult can do, he shouldnt be treated like on in court. Now, In juvenile court if they want to hit him with the longest sentence and place him in the toughest jail... by all means you have my blessing.
Discuss?

I think the opposite. If he wants to be a grown up....driving and what not, let him be an adult in court.
"Fuerst noted that Jiwa did not attempt to help Plunkett as he lay dying and instead tried to flee the crime scene." - quote from article. **** this guy.
Oh, and BTW. hes 23. how's he a kid?

I think hes referring to the other cop killer from 2 days ago in York Region, that kid was 15.
15 and depending on state of mind and proper medical assessment should be treated as an adult.

I'm sorry, I was referring to the incident that occurred 2 days ago. Hope that clears things up.
Ps... Last I heard, the kid may be paralized due to 'accident'. Though I said he shouldnt be judged as an adult and everything... the aftermath fits the crime

even so, him being paralyzed is nothing. Compared to that family now left without the father, it just sucks that things like this happen..

we should just make all the convicted criminals and bad people live in certain area in canada I recommend way up north some territories or make a working camp? or send them to hard labor work in a country like UAE where working conditions are dry and hot.

Now I do agree with the argument about there may be ppl who are wrongly accused. If it is a cut and dry case then "eye for an eye". I'm not saying that our current system ( as goofy as it is) should be thrown out. Just add the death penalty as an option.
I would have thought to act a bit different if I knew if I did something that bad it was over for me. Don't tell me any anyone would be any different if they are of sound mind..
