Why am I not surprised, as nice as the system is graphically it's not really made to handle the abuse of handheld systems. Granted LCD defects are usually from the factory, but moving parts in a handheld system isn't the greatest idea imo, thats why its sucks juice down. I was reading into this more when I saw it on yahoo news, sony wants you to play with the system for a week to see if the dead pixels bother you before you send the system in for warranty, you get a refurbed unit/screen in return. With the way the media was hyping the system launch Im surprised there's still stock left at your locations.

Hmm a couple of questions.. How big is the screen on these things, and how do you play movies on them?

i think its like 4-5 inches wide, 3-4 inches tall....

to play movies they gotta be on these really tiny dvd discs.... specially made for the PSP

ye the screen i would say is like 5-6 inches wide and 3-4 inches tall looks soo nice.. discs are the same price for games atleast haven't senthe price of ht emovies yte

simple solution:

put it in the microwave for 5 seconds

it will scramble everything inside...nothing will work...no physically damage...no screws removed...etc

take battery out if you can though

and start with 1 second if it works leave it if not keep going up in increments
