So...sunday night drive = Drama with guns

So...Me and acouple buddies drove down to lakeshore in barrie sunday night. As we were talking by the cars we hear cops coming up the street pretty quick.
Sure enought the 5-6 cop cars come to a stop about 40 feet from us and order 2 different cars of people to get outta the car at gun point. All of the people were put ont the ground and searched right away. Not sure on what was up as it happened all of a sudden. I just know the 5-6 cops cars were right behind these other 2 cars as they were driving down the street.
After about 20 mins, we thought it would be best to get outta there before they wanna come and talk to us.
If anyone knows anything else on this story please post up, as i havent found anything on any news channel or internet.

hahaha... it's kind of sad the people who are supposed to be 'heroes' are seen in such a negative light by so many people...

it's all perspective i guess..

i've never personally had any shytty run-ins with them, and regardless of what i hear/read i still see them as unappreciated heroes..
the few times i've been pulled over, whether rightfully or wrongfully IMO, i see them as doing what they're paid to do..

all i know is whenever i've asked for their assistance they've always been ready to help me out

hating them is much like racism if the only two blue people you've ever met ripped you off....

prejudiced against the police....

wait till you get pulled over ( for a car search) and the cop tells you he pulled you over for "wearing sunglasses on a foggy day"

but that will never happen to me..guaranteed
i have no problem getting pulled over, had no problem when i rode bike..
i use to get pulled over by 3 cars at a time..meh, doing their job imo..
overkill?? not if whom they assume/think i "might" be turns out to be true

stand around for 5 minutes while they run me thru the 'puter, shoot the shyt, off i go..
do i hold it against them?? no
even after the 10th time?? no, time changes things and circumstances, so who i might have been the 1st time doesn't mean i haven't changed by the 10th

In general the Barrie Police Force has been out in full force, i'm around the Barrie area every now and then, weather it be driving up to Wasaga or just goin to friends cottages and such. . . I saw them out in full force Monday & Tuesday. . . i never spotted a Barrie Police car, but this past couple of days when i was up there, i saw a lot when i was passing through

One summer night of 2003, I saw 8 curisers, 2 unmarked vans surrounded a Caravan with 3 teenagers inside the van. They were pointed with shotguns and asked to get out one by one. This was literally outside my driveway. I feel police officers were doing their jobs.

I was outside having a smoke, and chatted with my neighbour.

With all the bullet proof vests, masks (some) and shotguns with flashlights mounted on them. It was like a Hollywood production movie I tell ya. And I did not hear any sirens at all.

I agree, I have nothing against police, and look at them as pretty much hero's it takes alot to do thier job... and it can be pretty scarey. I have only ever been pulled over once and it was to check my 10day trip permit, and I was balling lol...

But other than that nothing, they are just doing thier jobs, and ****. Just think what the world would be like without police... YIKES!
