friggin sad story, the guy who's car was crashed into was 24, and he was driving his Supra which was modded... they have a thread over on the Supra forums about it... horrible story just driving along one day and a moron bank robber crashes into you...

at a combined velocity of about 220 km/hr what did you expect? would american metal stand up better to the crash?

crash protection is about transferring/absorbing energy, metal is supposed to crumple in order to protect the occupant. but in a crash like this, his brain was prolly mush before the car even came to rest.
