i didn't really pay much attn to that part....nevertheless if i catch her i'd boot her *** back to the US border...****ing *****....

The part about cuba is total b.s. My gf's uncle is married to a women who lives in cuba (met her on vacation lol) and they have a 5 year old kid. When the kid was so sick they wouldn't give them ANY medication and he couldn't even get band aids. The only reason why they were helped nicely in Cuba was because they were 'white'

1st .. its y no i lol ....

2nd yea basically she claimed common law with the dude so as common law shes entilted to free health care as well ... werid but true i guess lol ...

as for Cuba.... Cuba actually does have some of the best Doctors practicing over there and very good health care... if that was a one off case due to "race" who knows .. thats all hear-say at this point ...

the part that killed me was how some hospitals just throw patients in a cab when they cant pay thier medical bill sometimes with IV's still in thier arm and dump em into some shelter ... WTF is that REALLY ?!?!

now i try to think how PPL could move to the states once they become a doctor, fine your getting more money but how do you work everyday knowing that you probably killed 2-3 ppl ...

That drop off incident was all the news awhile back. As for the cuba thing its not hear-say because I know someone directly effected by it. Health care so good they don't give penicillin to a kid who is severely sick.

dude listen man ... after watchin the movie i see it like this ...

i would rather live here where everyone gets taxed so that poor or rich can both get the care the need when sick ... if takin my tax money to help a poor person live is what it takes then so be it ... i dont get how soo many ppl here complain about Taxes this and ppl mooching this off MY tax money this ... u can easily move to somewhere else where taxes arent as high but youll notice alot of things wont be socialized ... then youll just ***** about something else ...

My mom told me once... "theres only 2 things you HAVE to do in this world, pay taxes..... and die"

ur missing the pt of argument...

but im not gonna engage in a lengthy discussion....ppl that do not pay, or have not paid taxes here, should NOT be entitled to our free health care system...end of story

you want health care but are not in a position to shell out $1000 for a surgery? We'll gladly help you out...but it shouldn't be done free of charge...

im tryin to figure out how your deal works out .. cause if im not mistaken you live in another country but still use OHIP when you need medical help no ? do you pay taxes outta your paycheck in whatever country you live in ?

point is all systems have loop holes... ours was designed for significant others to get the same care as our citizens ... its like sayin that if i married an amierican that i shoudlnt get a green card .... so whatelese are americans good for anyways?? besides a green card lol ..

Oh good argument so someone can get there teeth fixed and get a heart scan but they cant get penicillin? His mom had to use a tshirt and cut it up with tape for band aids because the they dont give them out. Gf's uncle had to fly to cuba with products such as band aids, rubbing alcohol and etc because they couldn't acquire them. If you believe Michael Moore 100% them your a damn fool, his documentary's always convey a sense of bias.

i was thinkin that it could have been an allergy thing ... if u want to get treatment in canada that involves penicillin they need to see proof that your not allergic to it or else they REFUSE to give it to you ... i dont see how all those other things were refused tho .. seems like your basing a whole countries System on 1 case that u "heard" about

A biased view...

all Michael Moore does is present heavily biased views on whatever he talks about... alot of his 'sources' in other documentaries have been proven false later on, but he doesn't know so it's not his 'fault'.

I won't watch it only because I feel that a documentary should leave any conclusions to be made by the viewer, Moore doesn't do that. It's very easy to edit/cut a film to bias it one way or another. That's all he does - which IMO isn't what a true documentary should be about.

Well said, Alex. Presenting a personal viewpoint can be an interesting thing for an open-minded person. But, like you said, heavily biased opinions need to be weighed by viewers, and, in some cases, not taken as gospel truth. I like the dictionary definition of the word "documentary".
