Should I buy a 88 CRX?

Depends on the condition the price and mileage.....fill in the details and we can give you a better answer. Also give the breakdown on any option that the car came with...ie. a/c etc

if my bro didn't have one i would buy one, but i bought a car close enough to it the 4th gen civic. i love CRX's you can make those cars look beautiful and you can make it very quick too with a b16 swap. depends on the condition like 90efhb said. if it's in bad condition then don't get ripped off give him $2000-$2500 and spend some cash and fix it up yourself. thats what i did to my 89 si and it's in mint conditition with new interior, motor, paint, rims and i spent a total of arounf $6000 by now which isn't bad and it's smoking $25,000 sir's, and gsr's, pretty sad isn't it. so list up the specs of your car and maybe we can help.i will also look around for you a crx in good condition and ill let you know but they are very hard to find these days in good condition for a low price. i also prefer the 90-91 style it's a bit different than the 88-89, but if your tight on cash then get an 88. it's not much of a difference anyway.
p.s when you check the car check the floors first, we don't want you sliding under the car while your driving

Buy it if its in good condition. Some CRX have alot of rust, stay away form those. Motors are cheep for those too like almost 2000 less than the 2nd gen sir, and they are light as hell so you will fly. I like them I think there good cars with lots of potential.
