shipping questions

I've never shipped anything in my life. Just wondering what the process is to ship within Canada or US. If anyone can provide me with step by step on what to do including receiving payments (paypal), that'll be much appreciated. Thanks.

First - get the money. If they want to pay by paypal - make sure it is NOT by credit card. Too much fraud with bullsh*t chargebacks.

Second - get their address with telephone number

Third - pack the item you are sending WELL! <- real important!

Fourth - use UPS if shipping to states. If under 10 lbs - you can use Canada Post.

There you go....

Should I buy insurance when shipping? Also, does anyone know how much shipping charges are?

I don't anything to ship yet, just wanna get some info first. I assume shipping cost would also depend on size/weight of the product, right?

canadapost.ca has a parcel calculator, type in the dimensions and weight, insurance value (yes send it insured so you don't get ****ed) and that will give you a price option depending on the time you want it to take to get there.

paypal is safe, never had a problem but it will charge you 3% fee plus another 1% i think to transfer the money to a bank account. large purchase...make me use money order, 100% safe.
