Creatine Monohydrate's effectiveness has been scientifically proven over and over again (except on those who are non-responders as they do exist).

Which is why I'm not a fan of generic workouts like P90X. One size fits all is not valid in the world of fitness. Some of these programs can actually be dangerous to certain people.

Any gains you make while on creatine are just a side effect. It's main purpose is not to build muscle, but building muscle happens as a side effect to the extra strength and stamina you get from it.

There's also a difference between intracellular and extracellular water retention, the latter being the bad kind.

dont get me wrong, you keep some of the gains, but not all.

my new cycle has made me ALOT stronger (hence stronger, not bigger, actually lost some weight).

for example, on pec deck, I used to struggle 3x8 115lbs, now i can do 3x8 165lbs.

same with cable flyes, pushups (flat, incline, decline), chinups, etc. etc. etc.

overall strength has gone up

cycle for me is something your trying to accomplish in a shorter period of time.

my current 3mth cycle is a strengthening cycle and next will be a cutt for summer time (1-2mth).

every1's body will react differently you are correct, however it's a great way to get in shape without worrying about hitting the gym, not knowing what exercises to do, and whether or not you are doing them properly

it's a fail-safe way to get lean then you can educate yourself on working out and then hit the gym...at least you have built a base for yourself

lifting your max or to failure is not a requirement...

progression and intensity are the most important factors in bodybuilding (outside of the obvious dieting, etc.)

progression, yes, which is why i said i always try to lift heavier, not technically your max 1 rep.

NICE scale..

Gotta stress this - Drink water often. Remember that by the time thirst hits you are already dehydrated. This can gimp your process more then you know.

Forgot to add - I haven't touched creatine in years but at the time of my last purchase I wouldn't touch anything but EAS. If you know EAS, you know why.
