Second time now.....

Second time now.....
I was browsing around on the net and I have a cordless laser mouse. So all of the sudden I head and fell a big POP. I drop the mouse cuz thats where it came from and I think a battery exploded in there again. This is the second time. How long should I wait so I dont get any of the **** on my hands ?

this reminds me of a blade X thread... battery acid is good for you though

don't wait it'll eat at the electornics.... get rubber gloves on and clean it out use water (with the power off) to dilute the acid and then let mouse dry then get some better batteries....

only thing that'll make a sealed battery explode is heat..
internal that is..
i'd say the POS is grounding out somewhere..
swap it out for a good trackman or sumtin'..

maybe you should just go back to an old serial based mouse with a nice big grey trackball that has to be cleaned every other day... at least then there's no battery acid to worry about
