Help Now ! Now ! Now !

Ok, so I was helping my buddy doing a custom trunk in his 1996 Ford Contour Sport. We were doing fine untill I wanted to screw around and I pulled on this wire in his trunk and broke it. It wasn't an ordinary wire, it was 2 wires connected into some plastic piece, but the wires were NOT touching.

As soon as I pulled them, the interior lights went out (dash is alright) but the lights on the doors, dome, and the DECK are not working ! What the **** did I do ?

HOW CAN I FIX IT ? ? ? ?
:fustrated :fustrated :fustrated

check the fuse for the door lights etc.

If not then i think it might have been the door trigger wire, see if you can reattach it.

were these wires connected??
or is the rest of both wires buried somewhere??

if the second option be the case you'll have to fix the wires before anything can be fixed..
chances are ya pulled them and shorted them out too so be sure to check the fuses once the wires are figured out..

The rest of the wires are burried in the top of the trunk where you cannot see them or move them. I pulled on them to get them out (not tug) and it was fine, then I thought they were just a live and a ground, so I tug it off the clip it was on to bare wire and as soon as I did that, BAM gone-o

The wires were NOT connected to my best knowledge !
