He must of done something in the stairway to warrant being shot.

I'm not trying to say the kid was a model citizen by any means not too many were in my neighbourhood its just pretty wild to hear something like that about somebody that you've grown up with, played highschool football with, has eaten dinner at your house etc.

2008 has been a funeral filled year for myself...just add this one to the list

who said he was a thug? and it doesnt mean he must of done something to get shot u... can tell they ****ed up and those cops have to be interviewed.

it doesnt give ONE reason why the cops shot him all they say is there was a confrontation...and tey had to had "they fpound 2 knives" to spice upthe story for the police sake. stupid pigs

Details of the altercation were not available, but it appears one of the officers was forced to shoot Moynagh.
SIU investigators later found two knives “near the body,” Yoannou said. “But we still have to determine what role those knives played in the incident.”
No officers were injured.

Really quick with the lips eh!!

A bit of searching and you would find that , his meds. had been changed just a few days ago, he was not responding to the new meds very well and he obviously has suffered with metal illness all his life.

So much for your thug theory.

in all fairness he was "thuggish" but not a hoodlum persay...he was no saint but he wasnt any more bad than many people

sure he had 2 knives but why shoot to kill? can't they shoot him in the leg or something? or use the god damn taser? or pepper spray or something? this is bs..

so what if he listened to hip hop and acted "thuggish" he doesnt deserve to be shot and they didnt have to shoot him like someone above me said, how about some pepper spray...

I never said he deserved to be shot but we dont know what exactly transpired its one of those things where only the parties involved will ever know the exact details.

civicEJ1, the cops won't get ****ed.. you have to realize the SIU is all former police officers they look out for their own...

BTW this dude that was shot was also allegedly bi-polar and may not have been taking his medication at the time.

That is true, my cousin has been on the SIU for about 5 years, and before that he was a Peel officer for 15 years.
