Ok...so I need a new phone as my last one got stolen. Im not going to cancel my contract, as I can't even find a better plan than the one I am on.


So...i've narrowed it down to the MOTOROLA V635, or the SAMSUNG E316


Anyone have any experience with either of these phones?

Id go with the V635. I used to have the V600, and I liked it alot. The V635 is a new version of the V600, with a much better camera and flash.

as many problems as some motorola's have i'd still go with the V635. I'm not a fan of samsung phones at all, unless you're a girl. To me they seem very girlish, and they're all the same damn silver clamshell look. you can't tell the difference between one or the other cuz they're all exactly the same looking.

that plus motorola will have more features than the samsung...

my only concern with the motorola, is that i've heard people have had problems with them in the past. So i'm cautious about getting one. Also..it is fairly expensive.

motorola phones tend to have software issues when they are released ... and then you have to wait months on end for the new software ... lol ... i would say samsung ...

v635 hands down, motos are like cars, fully upgradable!

u can change the firmware as often as u change your underwear...by the time the phones make it to the canadian/north american market there are gobs and gobs of firmware upgrades and versions to use on the phone...as an owner of a V3 RAZR that is fully modded and past owner of a V600 fully modded no other phones out there can compare...also with rogers 850mhz band ur gonna get great reception...go for the moto!!!

v635 has been out for a while so you don't have to worry about software/firmware issues...
