So, what's the farthest you've ever driven your civic?? I just did 6200km (rounded of course) across Canada in 4 days without cruise and sight-seeing along the way.... BEAUTIFUL country!!

when you say across canada ? what do you mean? what points did you hit ..? what was your route?

I've gone from here to red deer alberta in 43 hours... return trip took 34 hours staying in canada both times..

for the summer I have a 16,000 km trip planned to hit all 10 provinces in 31 days with 11 days of autoslalom competition on during those days.

I drove from Toronto to Myrtle beach once in this girl's 2001 Civic Coupe. Everything was fine, she had just gotten it tuned up, then as soon as we cross the border on our way back into Ontario we got a flat...go figure.

why have rims if you're going to take them off when driving?

are you getting rims just to impress a few people?

Warrior Saint not everyone here has 'SHOW CARS'.

One weekend (Friday evening till Sunday night) I drove from Petawawa to Windsor and back for a wedding. :P

My VISA statement had about 5 trips to Petro Canada that weekend.

if I had rims and nice summer performance tires and I was gonna drive cross country or something ur damn right they would come off...get a flat in bumfuk nowhere try and get a new 17" tire! not gonna happen...not to mention tire wear, ride comfort etc

sorry, I guess I should have been a little more specific... I meant across diagonally Canada; I drove from TO to Brendand, Manitoba straight (32h), spent the night in a hotel (10h sleep), then drove straight to Banff, slept 2h, then drove to Whitehorse, Yukon with an hour nap around Fort Nelson, BC. as for the route, I took trans-Canada hwy (hwy 1 baby!!) across to Banff, then after Jasper I took hwy 40 north then the Alaskan hwy to Whitehorse, then the Klondike hwy to where I'm working.... lol, I did the entire trip in a lowered eg with 205/50 tires without a single problem!!
