Ooops...there goes $200, SENT!
So I'm driving down the highway, not going too fast because there is quite a bit of traffic, like 120kph in the left lane, when I heard a clump noise followed by a scrapping noise. I wonder what did I hit, I didn't see anything. So I look in my rear view mirror and see my front lip sliding down the highway into the sholder. So, I figure its still good, its still good. So I get off the next exit and get back onto the highway, off then on again and pull up and pick it up. It wasn't still good...
I had it on my car for like 2 years. Drove to Florida and back twice, etc etc. Well, just picked up a new one last night. Thanks Tom!

Actually.....I used the mounting kit that was provided. So: 2 screws on each side of the bumper, lip screwed into the bumper by 4 screws. There were also 2 "z" shaped mounts which were screwed into the lip and bolted onto the middle of the bumper using the slots that were already formed into the bumper. Looks like the mounts holding the middle of the lip came loose and dropped out (remember the lip has been on for 2 years) causing the middle of the lip to fall onto the road. With this happening it must have caught and pulled underneath the car. When I got home to inspect the 4 screws (2 on each side of the bumper) were still screwed onto the bumper and there was a part of the lip on each side still on, it ripped the lip right off the car. No double sided tape used. Guess I should have used some as well. So in other words I did nothing wrong. Except I failed to regularly inspect to see if it was all still installed tightly.
