he took a nice beating tho...
im sure that he can beat that guy tho if he improves his ground game...the fence really ****ed his **** up

^^ how could you say he is Superior to anyone in the ufc. Im a fan of Mirko but based on what we have seen so far, you could not say he is superior to anyone in the ufc. I mean he faught Eddie Sanchez who was made to be walked over...then they throw Gonzaga at Mirko, again Mirko is suppose to walk through him.. And regardless of how much you like Mirko, you know he got walked trough by Gonzaga. I think you are one of these Pride>Ufc people, and no matter what you are going to think that. But Fedor being the best P4P fighter (imo), with the recent events your opinon my start to be swayed. Not that I really think UFC>Pride, I think that all mma is great and each company has talent. Cant blame the cage/elbow rule, I mean these fighters know that way ahead of time and have to choice to train for it..
I mean lets start with the UFC fighters going over to pride as of late.
Monson(If you consider him a UFC fighter) goes to pride and wins a fight he is suppose to lose..
Nick Diaz goes over to Pride and dominates Gomi, who is the No. 1 Lightweight in the world apprantly. I mean, Diaz was no champion or No. 1 in UFC.
I mean Chuck went over to Pride and lost, but that was a long time ago.. and we will see what happens in the rematch (btw ill be rooting on Rampage)
Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou is another example, I mean he came of a loss in WEC to Glover Teixeira. Glover Teixeira is 4-2 and lost to Ed Herman.. so Sokoudjou leaves WEC and heads to Pride for some reasons and fights 2 top 10 HW from Pride... He KO's both of them in just over 2 mins.. making his record from 2-1 to 4-1.
And Fedor faught Renato Sobral, a guy Chuck Lidell finshed 2 times in UFC and Fedor could not finish Renato at HW...
Yes, Anderson Silva a guy who was not so sucessful in pride did come over and dominate the division. But he earned a title shot after beating Chris Leben?... come on. And he was not doing so well against Lutter from what I remember.. I like Anderson and would like to see him fight Okami again.
Now there may be examples of UFC fighters going over to pride and losing, but I cant think of any off the top of my head. I wouldnt consider Okami a pride fighter considering he only had 2 fights in pride in 23 fights.
Now look at Pride fighters coming over to ufc..
Heath Herring comes over and is suppose to beat Jake O'Brien (who is undefated). O'Brien has not faught anyone of siginifigance.. Then they throw Imes at Herring.. again Herring can not finish him but wins the fight. Imes has lost to Rashad (who is a LHW, not a HW, he moved up for the show)... then Imes lost to Dan Christison. Imes is no top HW by any means is what im getting at.
Dokonjonosuke Mishima comes over from pride, and is a top LW from pride and gets dominated my Kenny Florian. And before that lost to Joe Stevenson.
Werdum comes over from Pride, another top 10 HW from pride.. Most of the Pride rules everything said that Werdum would destroy AA.. sure didnt happen. Werdum couldnt even get AA down, he basically was asking him to come into his guard... come on.
Lastly, Mirko comes over and gets dominated by Gonzaga. Mirko was the NO.2 HW in the world and Gonzaga was not even ranked. Gonzaga had not beat anyone to aamazing in the ufc but has his only loss to Werdum in 2003.
If you have any points that go the other way Id love to know them, as I know there is some but cant think of them right now. Anyways, sorry for the long post, I had my Wisdom teeth removed today, and am drugged up, cant sleep so I have time to write this.
BTW, Id love to see wandy in ufc and think he would do well..A fight against Lidell would be sick.. I mean hes TKO'ed and KO'ed Rampage.

he'll dominate once he comes back to the ring....guy is so powerful and tough-built....I don't see him losing like that again...
I want to see Wanderlei Silva fight in the UFC!!!! I want to see him beat rampage for the 3rd time and beat the living crap out of Chuck "I'm white trash" Liddell.

Word on the street is Fedor now wants 1 fight deals worth 1mil dollars a fight.
Brandon Vera was offered something like 600k a fight from the ufc or something like that but turned it down for a contract at elite xc apprantly which is offerening 900k... not sure if its true or not but the ufc is waiting until the longest possbile moment then going to give Vera the final fight on his current contract. The offer was also before Mirko and other HW's were brought in.
Also, Werdum who made 80g's on this card went on to say that is double what pride was paying him to fight there. But in most cases pride/japan orginizations do pay more.

The next few UFC dont look so great..
UFC 71 is coming, Rampage vs Lidell.. who you want to win?
Im going with Rampage to win, he jokes, hes been one of my favourite for a long time, because I always thought he was hilarious.
Sean Salmon Vs. Eric Schafer, haha Salmon again.. he was the guy who was doing good against Rashad Evans but then got head kicked into the next dimension.. lol he was down for a while. I think Salmon will win, see if he tries one of those stupid bicycle kicks again. Apprantly he tries that once every fight.
